Thousands of shoppers attended the inaugural Vogue Fair, the first major Vogue Australia shopping event exclusive to Queensland, held at Pacific Fair.

Vogue Fair was officially opened by Vogue Australia editor-in-chief Edwina McCann, and News.com.au editor-at-large, Melissa Hoyer, and was followed by a fashion runway show which saw hundreds of onlooker’s crowd into The Resort to have a sneak peek at the latest in spring resort fashion.

Retailers got into the spirit of the evening with many putting on special discount offers for shoppers and hosting in-store events, while champagne bars and DJs kept shoppers entertained all evening.

The event was attended by Australian designers and celebrities including City of Gold Coast Mayor, Tom Tate, NewsLifeMedia CEO Nicole Sheffield, GQ Australia fashion editor Brad Homes, Australian Olympian and rhythmic gymnast Danielle Prince, fine jewellery designer Jan Logan, Aje designer Edwina Robinson, Búl designer Virginia Martin, Alpha 60 designer Alex Cleary, model Emily Gurr, The Fashion Heist blogger Aicha Robertson, travel and style blogger Miann Scanlan, Style By Yellow Button blogger and fashion stylist Claire Fabb, Stylish State of Mind blogger and Cameron McEvoy’s girlfriend Violet Atkinson, Dannibelle blogger Danielle Robertson and JOY. music’s Olivia McCarthy.

Pacific Fair has been transformed into a fashion mecca with more than 380 stores and one of the country’s highest concentrations of luxury brands.
